Using iron pincers, Rajwa Kol, a tribal woman, killed her 30-year-old husband Ramesh, neighbour Gudiya Yadav and her six-year-old son in Malkham village.

A Madhya Pradesh court awarded death sentence to a 26-year-old woman for killing her husband and two others, including a six-year-old, in Sidhi on Saturday. Using iron pincers, Rajwa Kol, a tribal woman, killed her 30-year-old husband Ramesh, neighbour Gudiya Yadav and her six-year-old son in Malkham village under Bahari police station, about 30 km from the district headquarters, on March 5, 2012.

Additional public prosecutor Suryakant Pande said that all 16 witnesses, including five eyewitnesses, said she had committed the murders. “Her behaviour throughout the trial was normal and she denied killing anyone but broke down when the verdict was announced,’’ Pande said.
